We are seeking a motivated, high energy, self-starter to serve in the role of RN Program Manager. This position is responsible for the management of Corrections Health Services programs to ensure that division policies are current, adhered to, and that compliance with local, state, and federal standards are met. Exercises independent judgment and assures the quality of the services provided. Work is performed under the supervision of the Health Services Administrator and Corrections Health Services Medical Director. Representative Duties •Coordinates, develops, and reviews facility policies and manuals. •Attends all policy meetings with the Corrections management team to ensure compliance with medical regulations set by local, state, and federal entities. •Assists in preparing staff for surveys required by accrediting bodies and state regulatory agencies. •Monitors health record reviews to ensure timeliness. •Maintains accreditation status reports and documents for compliance. •Conducts weekly surveillance rounds to ensure employee compliance with standards and regulations. •Serves on relevant internal committees and teams. •Evaluates deficiency trends across medical programs and staff and reports to appropriate staff per department policy. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in nursing or a closely related field and four years of nursing experience. Must possess and maintain a State of Florida license as a registered nurse.
